Great shoe, but part of strap broke on 2nd wear!
" When these shoes first arrived I was pleased with the look and feel of them. I ordered the ones in the buff color and though they were lighter, almost a blush pink, I still liked them. I also love this brand, so I thought the shoes would be a home run. Unfortunately on the 2nd time wearing them, the little "belt loop" that secures the strap at the buckle broke off! I wasn't even aware it had fallen off until I went to buckle it and noticed it was gone. I found the piece on the floor, so I may be stitching it back on sometime, but seriously not what I expected from this brand!

Awesome boots for the price
" Really like these boots. Was looking for sophisticated brown boots with a reasonable heel and found all of that in this pair. Very comfortable and a great value for the price. These are my 2nd pair of White Mountains and I've been impressed with the brand. I almost always buy genuine leather boots, but White Mountain manages to make synthetic look super classy--I love it!

Boots with character!
" I just received the boots today and am so happy with my purchase! I ordered them in "black", which is more like a dark gray with the weathered, vintage look to the leather. The other reviewer was right in that the boot is taller than most knee-high boots, coming up to the middle of my knee with the cuff down. With the cuff up, it covers my entire knee. I'm totally fine with this since in the cold winter it'll be nice to have extra coverage. The heel is just right; dressy, but comfortable. The buckles and extra details are very cute. I am a 6.5 and almost ordered a 7 to allow for extra room to wear socks, but stuck with the 6.5 and am so glad I did since these boots allow for a thin sock, so the 7 would've been too big. The zipper on the side makes them easy to pull on and off. I'm a sucker for shoes with character, and these boots are it!

Great go-to winter shoe!
" I just bought these and I'm already wearing them all the time, with jeans, dress pants, leggings and long sweaters. They're quite comfortable, but I've noticed are a little roomier than expected, so I wouldn't recommend sizing up for socks.
