Not as flattering as pictured
" Toe box is very large, with unflattering curvature, thus the shoe did not look dainty at all. The stars given are only for color scheme and toe design, the shoe was just poorly executed.

Beautiful color
" One of the few cases where the image did not do the color justice. The blue is VERY vibrant and suede is rich. The peep-toe seems as open as any other, but actually only a little bit of my big and next toe are visible--I prefer it this way, and the sloping of the heel will push your toes further out with wear, anyway. Keeping this in mind, I feel this shoe fits true to size, but may be on the narrower side for some.

Great for Crossfit!
" Super light-weight and no bulkiness, great shoe for the price. I probably wouldn't recommend long distance running if just starting out, as support is minimal. I tend to order 1/2 size up in anything New Balance, as I have tried several different shoes of theirs and I find they run a bit small. The laces are just a tad long on these for me, but I double-knot so I don't have to worry about them coming undone.

Cute every day/outfit bootie
" These booties are a bit narrow in the toe, but fit true to size for the most part. I'm counting on the leather to break in, as they are the slightest bit snug but a half size up would have been too big. They feel just like flats while having a short hidden heel, and can be worn with most anything; jeans over or under, skirts, leggings, tights, or dresses. I've worn them all day without my ankle socks being tugged down around my heel.
I chose black because DSW.com's images tend not to be true to color, as other reviews will attest when buying the lighter option. The quality, of the black leather at least, is great--thick but soft, and evenly textured.

Does not look as pictured
" These shoes were returned. As other reviewers have noted, the toe is extremely round to the point where you'd have to be a cartoon character to fit comfortably in them. They were also extremely short, where my toes were otherwise swimming, the very tips were smashed to the front.

Not as cute as expected
" I purchased the cream color, and my biggest disappointment was the elastic used on the inside. These shoes are already slightly wide and for my particular foot, extra stretch isn't necessary. In addition, the stitching is rather course-feeling and definitely noticeable rubbing the pads of your toes. I remedy this with a foam pads (such as Killer Kushionz--can't typically be seen when used in most strappy, open toe sandals) that run the length of the shoe, this takes direct pressure off that stitching, and helps me fill in the shoe for less rubbing. That all being said, I did keep this pair, mostly due to the color, as I was in need of pale sandals.

Great versatile bootie
" I purchased in black and this shoe is cute and comfortable, can be worn with jeans or anything short if using ankle socks. I was hesitant at first about the awkwardly-sized ankle rubbing uncomfortably and so wore them around the house for several hours. I decided they were worth it to keep and after a couple days of wear the ankle isn't quite so rigid and doesn't annoy at all. These are shoes that take some tying, so don't buy if you like you shoes to be quick on and off. Toe may feel narrow top-to-bottom for some.
