Love these boots!

" I generally don't spend more than $100 on a pair of shoes but am happy that I went with these Ilanna boots. For me, it's worth it to spend more on footwear where the features - comfort, durability, warmth, etc - are a lot more important than looks or color. Boots are in that category for me, and that's especially true for dress boots, for which finding comfortable dress boots (that don't droop) particularly challenging. The Ilannas seemed quite comfortable walking around in the store, and I liked that they claimed to be waterproof. I was concerned with the reviews that indicated these run narrow, but after walking around at home in them for about 30 minutes, I couldn't feel any pinching or pressure, so decided to keep them. I wore them for the first time today, and they are fabulous! Rainy day, and my feet stayed dry! I've walked around the office a bunch today, and no discomfort! Yeah! They look good too. On my somewhat muscular calves, they are the right kind of snug, so no drooping but also no cutting off leg circulation. So far, it looks like the finish will wear well (I have had other black leather dress boots that look worn and crinkled in just a couple of wearings, so that's another pet peeve!) I wish these came in more colors. "
